Your work is only as good as the tools you use. Learn how to make the most of your tools with proper care and conditioning. Part one of the class will show how to sharpen drills, chisels, scissors, knives, any metal based cutting tool. Next we will cover polishing tools and tool steel for the fine finishes needed on tools such as burnishers, shapers, modeling tools and pottery tools. Then we move to stabilizing your work, or the miracle of double sided tape, clamps etc. Also covered will be sharpening and cleaning files with brass tools. If you have a tool of any type that is in need of help, bring them in and we will do our best to get them back in shape. Anything from a fine engraving tool to a garden hoe, needs to be cleaned and sharpened for best results.
