ATTIC SALE & LUNCHEON BENEFITS WILLING WORKERS, SUGAR HILL
Saturday & Sunday June 11 & 12 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sugar Hill Meetinghouse. Held in conjunction with the Sugar Hill Lupine Festival Market, this annual event offers an array of treasures for sale, and their quintessential lunch, $6 per person, includes macaroni and cheese made with Harman’s cheese. Other light bites offered at a la carte prices. The Willing Workers Society is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization of women from several communities. Proceeds benefit area communities’ charitable services and fund an aware for a graduating senior who will be attending college. 

YARD SALE BENEFITS SUGAR HILL HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Saturday June 11 & Sunday June 12 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Sugar Hill Lupine Market, 1401 Route 117, Sugar Hill. All proceeds go to the historical museum’s building fund. The three-building campus of the Sugar Hill Historical Museum reflects the long history of Sugar Hill’s people, places and culture. The main 2016 exhibit is “Clotheslines”, a clothing and textile exhibit that includes table lines and accessories. Other exhibits include the Cobleigh Tavern, carriages, a reproduction of a local blacksmith’s shop, an extensive hand tool collection, a model kitchen with wood stove and utensils in homemade cupboards. The library contains a large photograph collection and historical and genealogical references. Museum publications and a variety of treasures can be found in the gift shop. Admission to the museum is free but donations are gratefully accepted. The museum is open 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Friday and Saturdays, Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.
