Weeks State Park entrance is on Route 3 about 2 miles south of Lancaster, meet at the base of the scenic auto road at the parking log. Led by David Govatski, walk up the auto road looking and listening for net-tropical migratory birds that recently arrived. The walk is 3 miles round trip and ascends 800 vertical feet at an easy pace. At 11:00 AM, carpool to nearby Martin Meadow Pond to look for loons, osprey and eagles. Free and open to the public, bring binoculars, dress for the weather.
